Multiwall Polycarbonate Sheet
Twin-wall, triple-wall and honeycomb structures — lighter and warmer than solid sheet, for roofing and greenhouses.
Architectural glazing and rainscreen infill — light, formable, and it will not fall as shards.
In facades, polycarbonate competes with glass on weight rather than on price. At half the mass of an equivalent glass panel, it reduces the structural steel, the fixings and the crane time — savings that sit outside the cladding budget and are often missed in comparison.
It also forms. Curved facades that would need bent glass at significant cost can be cold-curved in polycarbonate on site.

| Property | Specification |
|---|---|
| Typical constructions | Solid 4–12 mm; multiwall 10–20 mm for translucent facades |

| Fire rating | B1 standard; V0 grades available |
| UV protection | Co-extruded, essential for facade service life |
| Colours | Clear, opal, bronze, grey, custom |
| Thermal movement | Approx. 3 mm/m over 50 °C — detail joints accordingly |
This grade ships from 100 m² or 1 tonne — a trial pallet, not a full container. Standard sizes and stock colours run in 7–10 days; non-standard thickness or width in 12–18 days; add 3–7 days for CNC cut-to-size work. Quoted in USD on FOB, CIF or DDP terms. Full detail on the MOQ, lead time & shipping page.
Our standard sheet is B1 rated, self-extinguishing with an ignition point of 580 °C, and V0 grades are available. Requirements vary by country and building class — send the standard your project is assessed against.
Oversized fixing holes, gasketed joints and no rigid clamping. Polycarbonate moves about 3 mm per metre across a 50 °C range; a detail that ignores this will buckle or crack.
Yes — we cut to length, limited mainly by container and transport constraints rather than by production.
Where to look next
Twin-wall, triple-wall and honeycomb structures — lighter and warmer than solid sheet, for roofing and greenhouses.
B1 rated, ignition point 580 °C, self-extinguishing, no toxic smoke — for rail, public interiors and guarding.
Panels for secondary glazing, safety glazing and replacement windows — light, unbreakable, and cut to your survey sizes.
Roof lights, walkway covers and daylighting — where span, load and UV orientation decide the specification.
