Cut to size means exactly that: you send dimensions, we ship panels at those dimensions, cut to the order-specific CNC tolerance confirmed after material, thickness, part geometry and drawing review.

We are not competing with a local merchant on next-day delivery — we cannot, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we offer instead is factory-cut panels at factory prices, which removes the secondary processing step from your operation entirely.

The economics for a distributor

Buying standard sheet and cutting it locally carries three costs that rarely appear on the same line of a spreadsheet:

Offcut waste. Cutting 1220 × 2440 mm sheet into non-modular sizes commonly wastes 10–20% of the material — material you paid for, freighted across an ocean, and then threw away.

Minimum order and lead time

Plastura’s Jiangsu fabrication team quotes cut to size polycarbonate sheet from the drawing. State the sheet material, thickness, finished dimensions, tolerance, edge finish, file format, and quantity. Standard stock sizes and colours normally run in 7–10 days; non-standard extrusion in 12–18 days; allow another 3–7 days for CNC work. Questions buyers ask

Is there a minimum for cut-to-size orders?

The same 100 m² / 1 tonne as sheet, measured on the material consumed including the nest. Cut-to-size adds 3–7 days to the standard lead time.

What tolerance can you hold?

the order-specific CNC tolerance confirmed after material, thickness, part geometry and drawing review on CNC work. If your application needs tighter than that in plastic, the material will move more with temperature than the tolerance you are asking for — talk to us first.

Do you nest parts to reduce waste?

Yes, and we quote on the nested consumption. Send the full parts list rather than one part at a time so the nest can be optimised across the whole order.
