Become a Distributor

What we offer distributors, what we ask in return, and how the first year usually goes.

We are a factory looking for distribution partners, not a trader looking for one-off orders. This page sets out both sides of that, including the parts that are inconvenient for us.

What we offer

  • A trial that does not need a container. Start at 100 m² / 1 tonne, prove the market, then scale.
  • Factory pricing. No trading company margin between you and the extrusion line.
  • Technical support you can pass on. When your customer asks what thickness spans 1.5 m under snow load, you get an answer from the people who make the sheet.
  • The full range from one supplier. Polycarbonate and acrylic, standard and functional grades, sheet and machined parts.
  • Private label if you want the range under your own brand — see OEM & private label.

What we ask

Real market presence. An existing customer base in construction, signage, fabrication or industrial supply. We are not a good fit for a first venture into the material.

Honest forecasting. A rough annual volume, revised as you learn. We would rather hear a small accurate number than an optimistic one.

Technical feedback. If sheet fails in your market, we want the photographs and the conditions. That is how the product improves.

How the first year usually goes

Months 1–2: samples, specification discussion, a trial order at the minimum.

Months 3–6: repeat orders as your customers accept the material; volume tiers begin to apply.

Months 6–12: container quantities, mixed loads across grades, and a discussion about territory and scheduled production.

Territory exclusivity is something we discuss once there is a trading history — not something we grant on a first email, in either direction.

Minimum order and lead time

For polycarbonate sheet distributor program, Plastura confirms the product mix, specification, order quantity, packaging, destination, and required Incoterm before issuing a written quotation. Standard stock sizes and colours normally run in 7–10 days; non-standard extrusion in 12–18 days; allow another 3–7 days for CNC work. The published starting point is 100 m² or 1 tonne, quoted in USD on FOB, CIF or DDP terms. See MOQ, lead time and shipping for planning details.

Questions buyers ask

Do you grant exclusive territories?

We discuss it after a trading history exists and volumes justify it. Granting exclusivity to an unproven partner serves neither of us.

Do you sell direct in markets where you have a distributor?

Our preference is to route enquiries from a distributor’s territory to that distributor. That is the arrangement worth having, and we will be explicit about it in writing.

What support do you provide for technical enquiries?

Direct access to our sales engineers, plus specification help, samples and test data you can pass to your own customers.
